Lordfai is an independent contemporary dance artist and teacher based in Bangkok. She focuses on creating work through a highly collaborative and cross-disciplinary process, emphasizing on experimenting physical movements though conceptual and analytical concepts. She was given funding to research and create her latest dance and installation performance ‘Fractals’, working with dance, sound and architecture. The work was later developed and also presented at Wonderfruit Festival 2016. She collaborated and performs with international dancers, musicians, photographers, sculptor, actors and multimedia artists such as James Batchelor, B-Floor Theatre, Kor.Bor.Vor and more. As well as, being one of the 67 selected artists worldwide and Thailand’s representative to participate in the ‘DanceWEB’ program inside ‘2014 ImpulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival’ in Austria. Lordfai won Aggregate award for best all-round dancer and various Perpetual awards from ‘Asia-Pacific Dance Festival’ in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines and Thailand.
Her choreography, ‘Opaque’ was also highlighted as most outstanding choreography. After graduating from the Victorian Collage of the Arts, Australia. Lordfai aims to enhance the arts/dance scene in Thailand and continues to inspire artist’s through making innovative and original works, alongside teaching creative movements, improvisation, choreography, body conditioning, contemporary and ballet techniques at Bangkok Dance Academy, where she began her 21years dance training.
